Adriana Lima Met Gala 2015 Inspired Vampy Look

IMG_7144

Helllooo My Lovelies!

I know it’s a bit late but as promised here I am with a Adriana Lima Inspired Look from the Met Gala this year. I’ve been sick and then I was in Melbourne and I’m still feeling a bit under the weather but things need to be done! I really enjoyed doing this look and even tried to do a faux bang but failed miserably LOL !

Oh she’s so stunning I can’t even! Obviously our shapes are different. You can barely see her eyelids from the photos but I looked through as many photos I could and got a general idea.

Just a side note: My only regret is I think the highlight looks a bit too silvery/greyish…It wasn’t like that face to face and when I was doing the makeup but maybe I’ll choose a different shade for the highlight if I had to do it again.

~Start off with a grey base all over the lid – Maybelline Color Tattoo in Tough as Taupe

~Go all over the lid with a grey color – Lorac Stone

~Take that grey to the crease and blend – I added Lorac Lilac with Lorac Stone

~ Then apply a light/white matte shade to the brow bone just to keep in check that you are not taking the grey too high up – Lorac Vanilla

~Add a smokey grey tone with a satin or shimmery finish on the lid – I mixed MAC Satin Taupe and Makeup Geek Moonstone

~Don’t forget to blend everything together at the crease with clean brush or with a little bit of the crease color

~Now comes the fun part with the black eyeshadow – firstly with kohl pencil make a wing starting halfway the lash line

~With a smudger brush, start smudging that wing liner until it has a blurred effect

~Then with a crease brush (MAC 217/ Zoeva 227/ Sigma E25) take some black eyeshadow – Makeup Geek Corrupt – make sure you dust it off so that there is no excess product – and start going over that lining blending upward towards the outer crease and outer edge – go slowly and take as little product as possible at a time and build the black

~ Blend it with the lid and crease colors – you can go and add more of the greys if it helps you to blend

~Go with the black kohl pencil on the bottom lash line (NOT THE WATERLINE) and line halfway – leave a space on the inner third part

~With a pencil brush and black eyeshadow, smudge that liner and smoke it out

~Smoke it out farther down with a grey eyeshadow and a crease brush so there are no harsh lines

~On the inner corner, go with a shimmery champagne/pearl highlight – take it upward to the inner lid and on the inner third of the lower lash line

~Apply a little bit of that shimmery highlight shade on the brow bone as well

~Apply a nude or white eyeliner on the water line

~Curl your lashes, apply mascara on top and bottom and lashes and apply falsier! I used Social Eyes Vamp Lashes but to be honest I should’ve gone with the style Delight instead 😦

Deep Teal and Mulberry Smokey feat. the LORAC Mega Pro Palette

IMG_3076

Hello My Loves!

So I’ve finally gotten around to do a look with the LORAC Mega Pro Palette which has been a super hit among this year’s holiday palettes (and it’s sold out everywhere!). When it came back in stock for the second time in Amazon, I didn’t waste a minute to get my hands on it! I used some of the jewel tones in the palette to create this look as its holiday season. Bare in mind, I used artificial light for my photos and I’m still trying to figure the lights out so I’m not too happy with how the photos came out.

EYES

~After priming my lid, I put Fawn all over my lid

~Then I applied Camel and Sepia on my outer crease and crease with a fluffy brush

~Then with a precise crease brush, I applied Mulberry on my crease dragging it all over to the inner crease

~Then with a wet brush, I applied Deep Teal on my lid

~Then I with a little bit of Mulberry on the crease brush, I blended the outer edges of the lid color

~Then I used Makeup Geek Corrupt (the black in the palette isn’t intense enough) on the outer corner with a short shader brush and start blending it out with a crease brush

~Then I popped Sand and Copper on the tear duct as a highlight and Cream on the brow bone

~I lined my upper lash line with MAC Black Track fluidline and made a wing

~I used the same gel liner on my waterline and bottom lash line and then with pencil brush I smoked the bottom lash line

~I applied Deep Teal on the bottom lash line and then blended the bottom with Camel and Sepia

~I applied mascara and falsies : Social Eyes Vamp eyelashes

Ethnic Gypsy Princess Makeup Look

IMG_2109Hiya My Bunnies!

So this is a little last minute halloween look. There’s nothing gruesome happening here. It’s very feminine and super easy! It didn’t come out as amazing as I wanted it to because I had to race against the sun! If I had more time, I’d probably tweak some things and definitely would’ve embellished myself with more accessories!

For the headdress, I just wrapped my head with two different scarves and placed two necklaces on top. I did not pin anything down but ofcourse if you will something like this to a party you definitely need to pin everything.

EYES

~ After I primed my eyes, I added MakeupGeek (MUG) Chickadee on the outer crease with a fluffy brush

~Then I added Anastasia Beverly Hills (ABH) Morocco closer to the crease with the same brush swiping it inward

~Then with a denser fluffy brush, I mixed Lorac Mulberry and an Oxblood shade from a BH Cosmetic palette, and started buffing from the outer lid to the inner lid and also blending it with the crease colors

~Then I added MUG Corrupt on the outer corner taking it slightly up to the crease

~Then I went back and forth with Morocco and the Mulberry shades to make sure everything is blending with the black

~I added ABH Vanilla to the brow bone and mixed the same color and MAC Ricepaper to add to the inner corner taking it downward to the inner third of the lower lash line

~I lined my waterline with a black pencil and then smudged the liner with the same mulberry and oxblood shades

~I also smudged in some black on the outer third of the lower lash line

~Then I took Morocco on a fluffy brush and blended any harsh lines on the lower lash line

~I lined my upper lash line with a black gel liner and made a wing

~Added mascara to both my upper and lower lashes and then added some falsies!
