FOTD/EOTD: yellow and warm brown smokey eye with red lips!

Tonight I went for a yummy Vietnamese dinner with my friend Monica. I thought I’d do a fotd/eotd on the makeup I was wearing. Was intending to do just a simple neutral eye but ended up using this beautiful yellow eyeshadow by Inglot.

Breakdown of eyeshadows:

– After priming my eyelids I used Mac Soft Brown on the outer crease as a transition color

– Then I used Mac Saddle in the crease blending it with the Soft Brown

– Then I patted Inglot 323 on my eyelid

-Then with a clean brush I blended the edges with Saddle

-With a pencil brush I applied Lorac Sable precisely on my crease

-With a fluffly crease brush I blended Lorac Sable

-I applied a black kohl pencil at the outer corner and blended it with a pencil brush

– I lined the upper lash line with a gel liner and created a wing

– I applied Inglot 323 on the tear duct and Mac Saddle on the lower lash line

– I applied a kohl kajal in the waterline and smudged it with a pencil brush

– Applied Mac Brule on the brow bone as always 🙂

– A couple coats of Maybelline Falsies mascara and ALL DONE!

THE LIPS:

– I lined my lips with NYX deep purple lip pencil

– Applied Rimmel Kate Moss 107 on the outer corners

– Mac Ruby Woo in the center 🙂

– Loreal Magique Lumi Foundation

-Mac Pro Longwear concealer underneath the eyes

-Ben Nye Banana powder to set the under eyes

– Guerlain Terracotta Bronzing Powder in 03

-TheBalm Mary Louminizer as a highlight

– Mac Ripe for Love Blush (LE)

FOTD/EOTD: Easy Neutral Eyes with a Bright Lip!

I’ve been wearing this look almost everyday this first week of uni: very easy neutral eyes with a bright bold lip. The eyes only take a few minutes to do, so its perfect for those days when you’re running late for class! I’ve been switching up the lippies, but I must say, I’ve fallen in love with Mac’s Candy Yum Yum all over again!

Here’s a closer look at the eye makeup:

Excuse my red eyes, you can tell uni has already started to dictate my sleeping patterns! The lighting’s a bit washed out in the photo. The lid color is a bit more bronzy in real life.

Here’s a Step By Step of what I used:

– Obviously I primed my eyelids first: Nars Smudgeproof Eyeshadow Base

– On the lid I used Maybelline Color Tattoo in Bad to the Bronze

-Then on the crease I applied Mac Soft Brown with a Mac 217 brush

– On the browbone I used Mac Brule

– On the waterline I used Rimmel Scandaleyes Waterproof Kohl Pencil in Nude

– Curled my lashes

– Applied one coat of Maybelline Falsies and one coat of Rimmel Lash Accelerator on both top and bottom lashes

AND ALL DONE!!!
