Warm Rustic Eyes feat. the Sleek Sunset Palette

 

HIYA MY BUNNIES!

I was just experimenting with the Sleek Sunset Palette today and came up with this look. The lighting killed me as there was barely any sun at my end and the photos really doesn’t do justice to the actual intricacy of the eyes. I wanted to upload it anyway and share the details with you all! 🙂

 

 

 

 

 

EYES

~After priming my lid, I started off with Makeup Geek Chickadee on the outer crease with a fluffy brush

~Then with a slightly denser crease brush, I applied Inglot 383 (matte orange) on the crease

~Then I applied the shimmery orange shade from the Sleek Sunset palette (refer to photo above) on both corners of the lid keeping the centre bare

~ Then I mixed the two shimmery terracotta shades and applied it with a crease brush on the outer and inner corner of the lid taking it slightly to the crease (inner crease aswell) and blending out the orange shade

~I applied the gold shade from the palette with a wet brush on the centre of the lid

~Then with a more precise crease brush I applied MAC Hepcat and MAC Fig. 1 to the inner corner and outer corner of the lid blending out *make sure it is precise enough not to overpower the shadows on the inner corner

~Then with a pencil brush I applied Makeup Geek Corrupt (matte black) on the outer corner and slightly upward to the crease

~Then I took MAC Hepcat and Fig. 1 once again on the same crease brush and blended the black out

~I applied MAC Brule (matte cream shade) on the brow bone

* if there are any harsh lines make sure to go back and blend everything out

~I applied Australis Grape Cake eye pencil on my waterline and slightly on the lower lash line

~blended it out with a pencil brush and MAC Hepcat

~I applied the gold color from the palette on the tear duct area

~Then with a crease brush, I took Inglot 383 and blended everything on the lower lash line

~I lined my upper lash line with MAC Blacktrack fluidline and made a wing

~I darkened the line with Physicians Formula Eye Booster eye liner pen

~I used Maybelline Falsies mascara on the top and bottom lashes and then added false lashes (KOKO lashes in Ariel)

~EX1 foundation in f300

~Hourglass Ambient Lighting Powder in Dim Light

~Sleek Contour Kit in Medium

~Sleek Blush in Sunrise

~MAC Whisper of Guilt MSF (LE) as a highlight

LIPS

~Nars Audacious Lipstick in Jane

~MAC matte lipstick in Honey Love

~Nyx butter gloss in Creme Brule

Soft and Sultry Plum Eyes for Fall

Hi my lovelies!

I wanted play with some color today but still stay with the fall theme. I paired this beautiful purply plum shade with some some really nice oranges and warm browns. I think the lip pairs really nicely with the eyes. And can I just say this lipstick is the bomb! Keep on reading for all the details!!

 

 

EYES:

~I primed my eyes with MAC Painterly Paint Pot

~Then with a fluffy brush I applied MakeupGeek (MUG) Chickadee (yellow orange matte) on the crease and outer crease

~Then with a slightly denser fluffy brush, I applied Anastasia Beverly Hills (ABH) Morocco (warm terracotta brown matte) on my crease blending it inwards

~Then with a dense crease brush like the MAC 217, I applied MUG Cocoa Bear (reddish brown matte) on the outer crease and outer corner

~Then I applied MAC Hepcat (purple plum – discontinued) wet with a flat shader brush on my lid upto just under the crease

*Nyx Violet is known to be dupe for Hepcat

~Then I blended Hepcat with the crease with a little bit of Morocco

~Then with a dense crease brush, I applid ABH Deep Plum (matte) on the outer corner blending it with Hepcat and Cocoa Bear

~Lastly on the browbone I applied ABH Vanilla

~I applied a black eye pencil on my waterline

~On the bottom lash line I applied Hepcat on the inner part with a pencil brush

~Then I applied Morocco and on the outer part I applied Deep plum and made sure there were no harsh edges by blending them with a fluffy crease brush

~I applied Mascara on my top and bottom lashes (Maybelline Rocket Mascara) and then some falsies (demi wispies – generic asian brand)
